We live in New England
This translates into boat loads of soups, chili, stew, and chowders. All those "warm you to your toes" meals that are just so simple and homey!
I remember being a kid, playing out in the snow, coming inside to thaw and having a warm cup of soup.
The smells, the feel, the love of it all!
