Superbowl 2013

Good morning to all you football fans!

Today we gather in droves and consume mass quantities of food products.
Friends and family spending time...enjoying each other...

Wait, this sounds like Thanksgiving!

In all seriousness, the Superbowl is just as big of a tradition as Thanksgiving! My aunt and uncle throw a big party every year, and it is always a great time.

This year, since our Patriots decided they needed the rest of the season off, we will be able to kick back and enjoy the other Superbowl festivities. We can talk to each other....we can watch the commercials....we can go home at halftime! (because they start the Superbowl way too dang late for those of us who have to be up hours before the rest of you to go to work!)

As disappointed as we were when the Pats went out, now I can look on the bright side and feel a sense of relief that our room full of men folk won't be ready to break something.

On to the food!
My friends and family are some of the best cooks around. We always have a plethora of items to choose from!

I have been assigned the following...

1. Deviled Eggs
2. Stuffed Mushrooms
3. Baked Beans
4. Greek Dip
5. Garlic Knots
6. Macadamia Nut Tart

Happy Superbowl to you all!
