Snickerdoodles
Ingredients:
1 Cup shortening
1 ½ Cup sugar
2 Eggs
2 ¾ Cups all purpose flour
2 Teaspoons cream of tartar
1 Teaspoon baking soda
¼ Teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoon sugar
2 Teaspoon cinnamon
1 ½ Cup sugar
2 Eggs
2 ¾ Cups all purpose flour
2 Teaspoons cream of tartar
1 Teaspoon baking soda
¼ Teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoon sugar
2 Teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
Mix shortening and 1 ½ cup sugar together
Add eggs and mix well
Mix dry ingredients and add to mixture
Roll the dough into balls the size of small walnuts
Roll in a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes

Snickerdoodles are my son's absolute favorite cookies! These are always a big hit and I try to bake up a batch when he is coming to visit! Thanks for sharing at Celebrate Your Story!
