Jack Daniels Marinade

Hubby makes this every summer, but I could eat it year round!
It's awesome on steak and chicken.
I usually do up a whole bunch of meat, let it sit in this marinade for a day and then freeze little packages of yummy meat, ready to be cooked!

Needless to say, but I will because I like to give credit where it is due, he got this off the Jack Daniel's web site.

Jack's All-Purpose BBQ Glaze

½ cup Jack Daniel's® Tennessee Whiskey
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Makes about 2 cups.
