I received a box of these cookies from my friend Jennay from A Day in the Life of Jennay and they were big, puffy, and delicious!
She sent me the recipe. I made them. They were delicious...but nowhere near big and puffy.
We talked the next day, I did nothing wrong as far as she can tell. Best we can come up with is the fact that it was yucky out here. Weather matters.
I will keep trying to make them puffy though, since hubby and the girl ate them all, we need more in the house!
Ingredients:
2 ¼ Cup all purpose flour
1 Tsp salt
1 Tsp baking soda
1 Cup brown sugar
½ Cup sugar
1 Cup softened butter
1 Tsp vanilla
2 Large eggs
10.5 oz bag of Reese’s Pieces
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
3. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda in a medium bowl
4. Combine brown sugar, sugar, butter, and vanilla until creamy
5. Add eggs to wet mixture and beat thoroughly
6. Add dry ingredients slowly, mix well
7. Add Reese’s Pieces and mix
8. Drop rounded tablespoons onto prepared cookie sheet
9. Bake 8-10 minutesCome party with me HERE!
Yummmmmmy! :)
